OK, I'm not surprised as we in the Gulch already know the power grid won't be able to take the fantasies of the left. Meaning power failures and brown outs that bring down cell towers are likely to become inevitable and more frequent meaning the elites will need an alternate form of communication. No EMP or solar flare required because it's just a natural progression of the climate change and government control freak stupidity. We the people might want to work on alternative communications as well - I expect satellite communications won't be available to us peons.

Why does anyone think a Sat Phone will still work after an EMP attack? Seems more likely they would just take out cell towers in and around D.C.

I've used satellite phones.

I doubt anyone will be routinely utilizing them for multiple nefarious deeds.
