I'm still debating over which cap-and-ball pistol I want to get. Just how much propellant can you have on hand before the authorities freak out?

Still leaning strongly to the 1858 Remington, but recently I got distracted by the Smith and Wesson model number 3... it's not cap-and-ball, but I sure love break-action revolvers.

True, but until the revolution, they must be complied with or risk the consequences. Reloading is another way to avoid the hassle.

"No, although some States will have their own additional reporting requirements that might cover ammo."

    All of which are unConstitutional.

No, although some states will have their own additional reporting requirements that might cover ammo. Other states have no ammo reporting requirements at all.

Like the census questions. Inappropriate over-reach.

Gun control for illegals and criminals doesn't seem to be a priority. It is just more and more requirements placed on the law abiding.

Too bad they don't do the same thing for the ILLEGAL guns found on perps... except that would be decried as "Racist".
