What the government doesnt realize is that the drive people normally have to better themselves takes a distinct turn when you lose half of that gain to worthless power hungry people. I don't feel the desire to make things better anymore, but I would rather do a John Galt type of subsistence- just make enough to stay alive and enjoy life.

I think SF IS an asylum at this point. I doubt I will ever travel there again. It used to be a beautiful and desirable place.

now we are back with lax crime enforcement, and even more stupid ideas like drugs for druggies, and now booze for boozers

seem the public has limited memory, the media is not helping by not reporting this has all happened before.

it seems politicians WANT to cause problems, to make issues they can run on "i'll fix that"
but most do not ever fix anything, they just make is all worse.
