On a recent FBI episode, a person remarked that his neighbor flew a flag. The agent asked him why that mattered and the person said that the crooks would see the flag and know he was a Republican and Republicans own guns.

My flag has the same life. It stays up night and day until it gets replaced with a brand new one. On Veterans Day it has company with a number of smaller flags with signs representing our Armed Forces. Memorial Day is our local parade in honor of those who gave their all for our right to be.

My wife and I are away from home to assist an ill relative recovering from beating pancreatic cancer and a serious operation and are not doing any activities related to Memorial Day. It is a labor of love and are glad she survived and we can spend time together.

Although I'm in full sympathy with those who fly the Stars and Stripes as in the last meme, I no longer do. I flew it for decades in my front yard, but I do not do so today in protest of the commie usurpers in the WH. I took it down and folded it for a time when it can be flown again. In its place I now fly the Grand Union flag, which was the chosen flag of George Washington when he took command of the Continental Army in 1775 and pressed revolution against the boot on American's necks. When Free America becomes liberated again, I will fly the Stars and Stripes again. Interestingly, the Grand Union flag has the Union Jack in the upper corner and Britain can sure use some liberation nowadays as well. The Grand Union is an interesting conversation starter as most people today have no idea what it is and they are surprised when I tell them (if they should ask).

About that last meme about a Memorial Day Tribute, me dino has had the American Flag flapping from a roof support before my front porch for at least a couple of years now.
Some day that may show Soros-paid America haters who, what and where I am, but I'm never taking that flag down unless it is a new flag to replace it with.
I'm thinking of a line said a couple of times during a The Mummy spin-off that's a sword and sorcery fantasy movie called The Scorpion King. It is~~"Live free and die well."
