You can do this too!

ASP3 was not playing in my state (Iowa). Nor was it playing in North Dakota, South Dakota, or Nebraska. I reached out to Atlas Productions, they found me a theatre, I met with the manager of the theatre, and we all managed to get a screening of ASP3. I worked my contacts, and filled the theatre and had to turn away 150 additional people. You too can do this. I am proud to be not only a "producer", here in the Gulch, but also a Kickstarter producer. I was NOT going to allow the elite to keep this movie out of my town. See the results for yourself...

I went on strike August 1st so I had time to mobilze the troops. Alex Webb and Harmon Kaslow made it happen on their end and I supplied the movie goers. You can do this. Sitting down with a theatre manager and setting up a showing is no problem. We are a group that gets things done. Go out and make it a reality !

Thank you very much, I went on strike August first so I had time to pull it together. Hearing that from you made it all worth it. And for those of you thinking about doing this yourself, do it. People I had never met mobbed me for two hours after the showing to personally thank me. It was a true value for value exchange.

That is amazing! It's blows away the notion of AR fans as bellyachers. Instead of complaining, you made it happen. Turning away people probably has the theater manager thinking what's this AS stuff all about. You are a model I would like to follow. I complained about no theater in Madison but didn't even ask a manager to show it. Way to go. If everyone did what you did, it would be huge.

Yes and no. The vast majority left before they decided to show it again at 4:40. The later showing had about twenty people.

Thank you 23Skidoo. Did the theater continue to show ASP3 for the 150 turn-aways?
