I never thought I'd say this, but, if they held the Olympics in Russia, the water would be clean, opening ceremonies would be clean and women would compete against women, not men. How far the world has come in my lifetime.

Watching the non femal, actually male posers, I am sick of seeing men who cannot go againt real men, tak over women's categories. I am not big on it in the firs tplace, as they beg handouts to spend time training to be contestants, for years. Just does not seem quite right.

I realized back in the '70's (read: when I was a kid) that the Olympics had been popularized so that "non-professional" athletes from communist countries could compete head-to-head with "non-professional" athletes from free countries. The catch is: in communist countries, athletes get a government handout like everyone else, so their biggest, most well trained athletes (who amazingly ~don't~ get paid as pro's) compete with our college students who haven't gone pro yet. If they allowed ALL athletes to compete fairly, Russia and China would not have stood a chance.

That being said, Romanian Nadia Comenici would have still won, because she was the best ever, and every single hetero male in the free world would have probably done her, given the chance, and they would have had to stand in line behind me.

I don't care a rat's patootie for the Olympic Joke these days, and won't, until they start following the old Greek tradition again, and make them all compete in the nude, so that you can tell the girls from the boys. Then I'll watch the women's events. Volleyball, wrestling... Maybe not the shot-put. I've seen what those women look like.

I agree w/Abaco. A lab test on his DNA showed XY, and that makes him a him, outdoor plumbing or not.

The women need to refuse to go up against these fake women challengers. Do a complete walkout. Let them fight each other, and it will end up like men's sports, men competing against men. Then they need to form a completely new organization based on chromosomes, not sex, not genitalia. If you have XX you can compete, if you have X and a Y you can't. I used to think that it should be based on genitalia, but even that doesn't work today. Or enter in the rules that any male competing in the women's league can only fight Mike Tyson after hiring him to feel like a girl. I'm pretty sure Mike would go along with it.

I quit watching all sports when they started disrespecting the anthem. I know that it was the Olympics but it seemed to cascade into everything and I refuse to support any of it.

was this "boxer" a post or pre op tranny? Testing positive for higher levels of male chemistry is a bit confusing. If "it" was a female taking and testing positive for male hormones, that should have disqualified "it". The whole thing sucks. Kinda like kameltoe harris.

I always thought it would take a major injury for things to change, but based on what happened to a female high school volleyball player in North Carolina almost 2 years ago, I was wrong. Now I think it's gonna take a female "legally" being killed by a guy before the brakes are universally put on this total idiocy. (And if Khelif does kill someone, it will be legal, since it happened in a boxing ring. And that infuriates me even more.)

Right there with you. I think the last one I watched was in China. We got rid of TV not long after that.

Absolutely agree. I am done with it. I previously enjoyed watching the equestrian events given I campaigned in the hunter / jumper circuit. But now the hell with it all.
