I'm scared about the brains...
I know I've harped on this before. But...because of the work I do I think I'm in an environment where people are intellectually tested regularly. In general, I'm seeing a really substantial, noticeable mental decline in people. I've been trying to get a design team to understand a somewhat complex design problem and have been explaining it for a couple weeks now. My last email, sent late last night, is a mini-textbook in the issue, including the historical developments on the approach, etc. I don't know what more I can do other than an in-person lecture for the whole team in front of a white board. And...I'm really thinking about doing that in my shrug job...consulting with firms who design these types of facilities on the key concepts - giving lectures to them. What I am most concerned with is the change in people. I know around 85% took the jab and I hope the science I've been reading is all fake, because it's right in front of me every day. I appreciate your thoughts and personal observations...
"DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) is a crucial component of brain health. It comprises about 30-40% of the fatty acids in the brain and is essential for maintaining neuronal structure and function. Here are some key points about DHA in the brain:
Role in Brain Function
DHA is vital for cognitive functions, including memory and learning.
It supports the fluidity of cell membranes, facilitating communication between neurons."
"Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that."
Society has for, thousands of years, been filtering out the less intelligent ones through natural selection, but in the last century, technology and government have contrived to make the world safe for, and promote the survival of, morons.
They are now treated as an endangered species, and woe to your bank account if something happens to one and their lawyers can blame it on you.
Modern society protects the ones it wants, not intelligent people, males, White people, Christians, heterosexuals or conservatives.
I do contract work in a reviewer capacity for some consumer products. Other reviewers get practically hostile when they see a long, comprehensive review, because they think it makes them look bad in comparison. And frankly, I think it does! Their main criticism is "no one wants to read a dissertation!" But if I am thinking about purchasing an expensive product, I appreciate seeing a comprehensive discussion of its merits.
And at the same time, these people complain that their reviews are often rejected, and can't imagine why.
I don't know what the answer is, but yes, I see a similar lack of intellectual capacity, and also, a lack of intellectual curiosity. I am not sure which is more frightening.
I think the purveyors of the jab are getting exactly what they set out to get: a dumbed-down populace.
I can't grasp what you are talking about, either, as I don't know what area of tech you are talking about.
Look at Washington and their poodle-dog media to encounter stupendous stupidity - "Let's lob long-range missiles into Russia, that will bring about peace."
One reason many people appear "stupid" is because of the growth and reliance on jargon and acronyms, as a result of the explosion of technology and its multiplying specializations.
For example, I do not know what a "shrug job" is, and even the dictionary is no help in understanding what you mean by a "somewhat complex design problem" so I am stupid? LOL! Look at Reddit to see acronyms galore. The deeper the discussion the worse it gets.
How are you "explaining" it? If there's misunderstanding it's not going to be resolved by changing the format of the explanation. You need some sort of feedback mechanism to figure out why they don't get it.
Start with the basics. Start with one sentence. Does the person understand that one sentence? Do they understand every word in that sentence?
Another reason for "stupidty" is the disintegration of the public education system. It was reported not a single person "graduated" from Baltimore public schools able to read at "grade level" or do simple math.
Do you have a glossary of the terms you are using in your "design process"? Terms with different meanings than those offered in a dictionary or compounds that are not found outside your tech area? Don't assume your team knows the vocabulary of your specialization.
That's how I clear misunderstood words and resolve acronyms and creative compounds. If there's no look-up to explain each and every word, compound and phrase, then that "system" is not easily operated.
There's nothing organically different about people's brains, unless one is being prescribed psychotropic ("reality-altering") medications. That is a huge and growing problem in America and leads to diminished understanding. Persdonally, I thin it has lowered the societal sanity level. But that is each person's private medical information, we certainly don't want to prevent Big Pharma from becoming $trillion dollar corporations by exposing the harm they do to the country by creating a dysfunctional society, do we?
"Everyone is surfing on the edge of their incompetence..."
We keep seeing it in various companies. People who are managers that need to go through things in the order they have them written down AFTER we went through 80% of them in a different order in THIS SAME meeting.
People who listen for 10 minutes to an update, and say "I'm sorry, I couldn't follow you. Could you say it again?"
As I get older, I am "word hunting" a lot more. But this is SO FAR beyond that, I am concerned for our countries future.
The current leaders are failing "standing up". And their replacements are best described as "The Cream of the Crap!" (not CROP).
It's not 100%, obviously. But it's like the smart people in the long established companies are fleeing and signing up with consulting firms.
And this H1B Visa Tax (a WONDERFUL IDEA) is going to crush a BUNCH of companies as they are going to be forced to hire locally, or do more offshoring. Into a world of "Brain Fogged" people.
And I am an OPTIMIST, FTR (for the record).
The more tired I am, the more it happens.
The less sleep, etc. etc.
I am seeing Trump starting to do this... (It's like he forgot Armenia as the other country involved in the war he ended).
I have heard of DHEA being a good thing. May give that a try. Thanks for the heads up!
