You are refreshingly honest about your shortcomings in this endeavor. There are people on Wall Street and in Washington who have been just as wrong, if not worse, drawing huge salaries, the media doting on their every word (e.g, the last three Federal Reserve chairpersons).

I have been trying to predict the stock market for 20 years, and I say the stock market will continue to rise. I should also add I've consistently been wrong most of the time in my market timing, and I haven't gotten better with experience.

Hmmm..."Danger Will Robinson!" Caution is well advised.

I have been expecting a pullback for some time. In an election year I would guess everything that can be done to prevent that will be done. That may cause the correction to be even more painful.
