OMG! Me now an old for an ancient dino with my very own personal home computer clean forgot how so many decades ago I had to use the Dewey Decimal System and walk around in a library to find information to get good grades for such things as term papers in both high school and college.
All through my seven years during the Seventies as a small newspaper reporter, I even had to roll sheets of paper into a mechanical typewriter. Written articles were called "copy" placed in a wire basket beside always a female typesetter.
I used to date one of those ladies. Her grandma liked me due to my getting her away from a local hoodlum for a boyfriend always in trouble.
Fresh out of the Marines, I was not afraid of much of anything back then.
Kolchak The Night Stalker was my hero way back then~~https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQ3X4...

HAD to +1 The Night Stalker, dino! When young I used one of those ancient printing devices and had a neighbor that worked for National Cash Register (aka NCR today) repairing them.

Looking up NCR proved to be historically fascinating ~~ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NCR_Voyix
Mention of the military 1911 .45-cal. pistol (one of many products churned out by the company) triggered memories. The gun was introduced to me by the Marines (way easy foir me to aim and hit targets) and was touted for "stopping knock down power" despite gangsters in movies shot by Thompson subguns like in The Godfather tend to dance ridiculously around while being endlessly splattered by big .45 slugs. I was a Marine supply clerk and as yet never shot anyone but I bought a 1911 shortly after I became a civilian. Kept it in my car's glove compartment (too big for concealed carry) and called it my "car cannon." Because it only shoots 7 rounds me dino traded it in at a gun store around year 2002 for a big 9mm that fires 17 shots. That pistol I call my "car blaster" because it keeps spitting shots like a Star Wars sidearm.

Great collection from the beginning to the end, OUC! Love the overpass artwork and the Donald Geese. I think THAT Dr. Spock has the right idea and could have come in handy in a recent restaurant visit me and the missus attended. My '04 Ram had a fold up console that could reveal a bench seat arrangement, but they are a scarce item these days. Yeah that '50s pic showing 15 cent burg.... oh wait, LOL! I also just discovered my keyboard doesn't have a "cent" symbol - must have left with the bench seat. Thanks OUC!
