To pasteurize or not to pasteurize... That is the question.

But shouldn't it be left up to the CONSUMER to decide? Government argues that it should be able to force all dairy producers to pasteurize their milk for health reasons.

    If calves had a voice, I'm sure they would want their milk unadulterated, that is, to include the beneficial probiotics that were killed off by the pasteurization.

    There are some who argue that paternalistic government is the milk of human kindness. I'm more inclined to think it's the sour and curdled byproduct of a failed philosophy.

    It sounds trivial, but the fact that people think the consumer shouldn't decide is a bad sign.

    Typical of the "justice" system today.
    However the applicants should not be surprised, and their lawyer (an officer of the court) likely warned them that this would be the result in advance.
