and perhaps more importantly, on a plane back at the end of the week?
how paranoid should we be, really?
I'm not thinking travel to border states is a good idea right now, but this is a work requirement.
Your thoughts, please.

The risk of being seriously hurt by a disease or accident from commercial air travel is trivial. There's probably greater risk in the drive to the airport. The best thing to reduce risk of illness is to eat right and exercise.

First try to discern if the ebola virus is being seeded into America randomly or if a pattern is developing that would indicate a recognizable statistical distribution. Everything this administration does is geared toward increasing its power and control over the populace. Since Texas is an enemy and California is fully on board the Marxist bandwagon, it might not be on the WH approved target list.

You should be concerned. However, paranoia is counterproductive to any producer. In the AS movies, train travel was the only major mode of mass transit. Ebola, if it turns into a pandemic, has the potential to end all mass transit. As with everything else, you plan for the worst and hope for the best. This will eventually pass. The question is whether we go into the wrong column of statistics (i.e. needless deaths). Other Gulchers were there as a community to respond when John Galt was taken to the State Science Institute.

Sorry, cyberwizard, I normally would not insert myself in domestic affairs, so this is coming as a friend.

I believe nothing this Keystone Cops clown car of Marxists criminals has to say.

Joan & I are avoiding all major population centers and huge gatherings of people until there is objective proof that this thing is contained.

But, Joan and I both work from home.

    Use your best judgement.
I would see if teleconferencing was an option.

I would not go, but that is just because you would not catch me alive in the People's State of Kommiefornia.

I would feel safe to travel. Mr. Duncan, the first patient, presented on Sept. 28. No one else has been infected by him (Unless some one comes forward in the next three days)
The two nurses are isolated being treated. It seems that at this point it has been contained.
I would be more concerned with whooping cough and enterovirus which is being brought into this country via a porous border.

I predict a rise in Skype and GoToMeeting events. Unless his physical presence is required why not a virtual meeting?

No. There is nothing wrong with being cautious. We need time to see what direction this is going. Be safe WW.
