Armored vehicle helps collect civil judgment in small town

Disagree with town government, they send a tank after you. It's so great to live in a 'free' country.
Someone in another post today commented that they had 'faith' in their police force. Here's your faith.
"When officials in the tiny Town of Stettin in Marathon County went to collect a civil judgment from 75-year-old Roger Hoeppner this month, they sent 24 armed officers.
And an armored military vehicle."

Blame the laptop <grin> couldn't have been my tipyng.
I went to the local gun shop, and noticed a preponderance of "black gun" and pistol sales... (this in the People's Free Socialist Demokratik Republik Union of Kalifornicatia)... which gives me an inkling of hope - NOt "hope and change", but hope FOR change!
While some people will bow down to their knees, to love and fear their appointed leaders with all reverence and subservience demanded, there are those even here (outside of the liberal enclaves) that will never trade in their American birthright regardless of what the socialist lackeys of the SF-LA-Sacto ilk and their Chicago-ist Masters demand.
Sad.
Scary.
They rely on the illusion that they have larger, more dangerous equipment... they have more "might" and that's the basis of their being "right". Why else does the local LEO's have M-16's, MRAP's, and a hundred thousand rounds of hollow point? To protect against "terrorist evildoers"? Or to show they have the "might" to keep in business, if some wise@$$ "citizen" thinks they're gonna show them differently with their little single shot 22 without ammo...
Opening soon in a town near you!
Beat the rush. Turn yourself in NOW, and save taxpayer dollars... It's your patriotic duty to do so...
Government by law or by men?
Don't confuse that with the old definition, that ised to include those now in the "Serf and Subservient to the government" class...
I like the way she said it, though. :-)
