I haven't listened to him hardly at all lately (no time, I guess?). But, in the past he always cracked me up. I go pretty fringe, I think, listening to the occassional podcast of Alex Jones, who also cracks me up. Man, Alex gets wound up...

BJ, another thing that people who don't listen don't get about Limbaugh, and the main reason why I listen, is that he is a political satirist.

This does not mean that he is a comedian or that his commentary and analysis lack depth.
Rather that he approaches politics as a satirist would, "We illustrate absurdity by being absurd".

As someone who dabbles in political satire myself, to *not* listen to the current undisputed juggernaut of the form would be prideful and foolish.

As usual, Rush is right! I find it fascinating how many people will tell me that Limbaugh is crazy and too fringe only to reply when asked that they've never actually listened to the show. Please accept my Mega Holliday Dittos fellow objectivist!
