I took a attended a lecture class a while back on Ethical Individualism (a great class).
The philosophy prof holding the class was a rarity: a libertarian capitalist.
He would often discuss the concept of markets as information systems, analogous to biological signals of pain.
By this analogy, Socialists screw with the market with the intent that their manipulations act as an analgesic.
I think we're way past that now.
I think these guys are smack addicts.
