Tragedy all around… There is something unsettling about the scarlet letter for life treatment of sex offenders in a case like this, but I have much more sympathy for the victim. The perpetrators cry for themselves because they were caught. Boo Hoo… The Liberal elite suffer from selective outrage and moral conviction.

Absolutely. I think I wasn't real clear with my above post......where was the personal responsibility for ones own choices and actions. It seems in our society now it's always someone else fault.

Their futures?!? Those reporters need a reality check! What about the nightmares that will plague that young woman for the rest of her life? She will carry the stigma of her actions, just as much as those stupid boys will. And I wonder about the same things as you do, Pirate; where were the parents, and why didn't someone step in? Pack mentality clearly took over in this instance.

In such a world as this, personal responsibility, and accountability are alien concepts.

This mind set illustrates how it becomes possible for progressive women to equate the pathological behavior of these young men and the rape of a young girl, as somehow, tragically equivalent.

There is just so much wrong with this whole incident, and those 2 reporters sobbing over the lost futures of the boys is just mind boggling. There is some much to say about the whole incident, like: Where was the sense of right and wrong in these boys? Where were the adults? Why didn't any other kids step in? Why was this girl so drunk she was unconscious? This is just a symptom of the decline of our civilization and the reporters are throwing garlands on the parade route.
