Ok, this is highly off color but terribly funny! What were the painters thinking!?

    The best part is that I can just imagine someone 500 years ago, encountering some of these paintings, stopping for a minute, and then bursting out laughing...

    It's pretty obvious that renaissance painters had different standards than, say, Gerber. Legend has it that Humphrey Bogart's mom, a commercial artist painted him as a baby and sold the likeness to Gerber. Look how well he turned out, considering he had to overcome a name like Humphrey.

    Like you wrote about the artists, what are those putti owners thinking. Thanks for increasing my vocabulary, by the way.

    Hahaha, oh you're giving me a good laugh. Watch out for boys when they're getting changed...
    But yes, it's easier when they manage that on their own. I'm still uncomfortable knowing my son is driving around with the crazies on the roads now... They just come with bigger scarier baggage as they grow up. :-(

    As I recall, they all at least wore diapers most of the time too. :)
    ...At least before they were ready for grown up pants...

    Sometimes I wonder if it would have been nice to have children... then again, nieces and nephews go home. ,-}

    Those paintings remind me of how I never understood the "cuteness" of those peeing naked little boy water fountain statues.
