Maybe for some... I am more practiced. I can do it in the dark in mere seconds. I would wager less than 3, even half-awake. One more to rack in the first cartridge perhaps.

The demonstrators are probably hoping for an incident, but it would be real hard not to take action against them. If they actually slapped the woman in the article, one of them should have been permanently marked so they would always remember when they crossed the line.

Capital idea; they need to contact one of the conservative legal foundations who could provide expert representation, perhaps pro bono.

The targets might be those who thought they could "atone" for their "white guilt" by "voting the right way" and so on. I think they just found out differently.

Just an idea... have the roll down security door on a remote opener... start a riot, call the police and drop the door. When they show up press a citizens arrest on these fools for endangering the public and inciting a riot. Oh yeah, as it was obviously a hate crime, enhancements should apply...

Of course, NYC is a liberal Valhalla, so we would expect those living there would be THRILLED to be part of the "Action"... just one of the reasons I didn't move there.

I know a couple folks, card-carrying comparty members, that *did* move there just because they could stir "stuff" up, from out here where such "stuff" isn't tolerated.

Attacking in restaurants -- brilliant! In NYC that is where thousands are employed, where tourists go to eat, and is one of the things the city is known for. Got plans to visit New York? You can add it to Chicago and Detroit as places to not go to. Instead of Broadway shows, you might want to go to a National Park instead, before BHO finds an excuse to close those down. Just a few years ago such a demonstration would get you in a paddy wagon just as quickly as the restaurant manager could dial 911. Today? Who knows? It's as likely to be no response at all as anything. I wonder, did anyone stand up to these miscreants and rally the other patrons to hustle them out? Did anyone shout "Let's roll!?" Have we forgotten so soon, that these are nothing more than the beginning of local terrorists?

I'm thinking most of these protesters are food stamp moochers who never finished high school and are at least having their expenses paid by George Soros financed Marxist hate groups.
They always appear to be provided with professionally made and often identical signs.

When you don't tell people the truth, they start to believe in what you tell them, entitlement. We're getting to that point where they don't see results, don't believe it anymore, but still they vote for the same thing. They still love their beloved representative Sharpton even though he instigates all the things that prevent them from moving ahead.

There are many blacks that are not in this group, but they represent what the others are against, progress, wealth, etc., and so are not listened to.

I remember the Watts riots when I lived in SoCal. It was a scary thing. At least they mostly destroyed property in their own areas, both black and white. Al Sharpton's got them exactly where he wants them, demanding whites give them what they deserve. What will it take for them to see the light?

I've had no need in the past. Used to be very quiet until 3 years ago in my neighborhood. A little pilfering was the max. During summer, windows open, I hear gunfire every 4 to 6 weeks, at night. Not having a firearm loaded does not mean I am not a lethal force....with weaponry or not. Your point is very well taken!

I live near Johnston County North Carolina, home of the KKK. the most ironic part of this is that the ONLY racists I have encountered in the south in the past 15 years I have been here have been black. I and worse, the blacker they are the more racists they seem to be.

A good restaurant owner will be prepared, calling the police while taking pictures and video and acting to expel all protesters. A good restaurant owner will strive to maintain control of the restaurant. Perhaps it's time for all restaurant owners (New York City and otherwise) to bone up on how to disperse an unruly crowd?
