Why the heck not? The problem of whiteness is confusing, about equal in my mind to the problem of blackness. I don't know what any of it means, so I can't find it offensive or troubling. Maybe it has something to do with that nonsense Oprah was doing in the quote.

I can't say anything about the so-called white privilege conference, but this quote sounds like a crazy old man raving. I would be shocked to peer in on the conference and find it's about the stuff he says.
