Ayn Rand - An Atheist or just Anti-Religion

Having read 'We the Living', 'Fountainhead' & 'Atlas Shrugged' I'm not convinced that Ayn Rand was an atheist.
IMO, she was anti-religion and 'misgodded'.
The superstitious nature of religion did not serve her need for reason & objectivity.
In a crushing totalitarian society, she found her 'god' and her purpose in the sanctity and sovereignty of the individual.
What do you think?

    Thanks for your comment.
Angry - Yes, due to negative effects of blind faith in religion.
Agnostic - Yes, there's nothing inherently wrong in questioning one's faith. As evidently did Mother Teresa; http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2007...
Science - Yes, the objective, rational analysis of nature.
Faith - Yes, believing in a natural order of the universe vs. chaos.

I think she may have been closer to Angry Agnostic. I do not find Science killing my faith but enhancing it, but then note I said faith, not religion.
