The oscars are politically chosen. Quality is secondary; if it had real quality problems it wouldn't have a nomination at all. Was the movie sufficiently socialist to win?
In the current crop of oscar nominees ?

If it is snubbed at the oscars, it will be over the content and message, not whether a fake baby was used in a scene.
The furor over the doll is window dressing to give them something to hang the snub on other than the truth.

Only for those looking for an excuse to diss the movie for its rightful accolades.
