    About the zenocide quote

Yes, overpopulation as a threat is absurd, but this quote is intended for people who believe it. Many do. I wanted to exercise the my sentiment/ the fact that for human beings, "reason is always the answer. Period". So I gave what I consider to be a reasonable alternative to the widely believed agenda of some groups to reduce the earths population. I am not of a razor wit for Humour so writing a scathingly mocking quote was not an option.

To the person questioning the propriety of my using "second-hander" in place of " moocher" in my quote "What's mine is mine, what's yours is yours ..the secondhander believes that what is yours and mine are his".

    Here is my response :

Spiritual second handers tend to rely on getting a sense of self esteem from
The perception others have of them. Through others'efforts of forming an opinion of them(preferably a good one) the spiritual secondhanders are deriving the benefit of self esteem through the mental labours of others.
Same principle as the inconsiderate woman or man eating food, sleeping indoors and drawing life through the efforts of a benefactor who is not repaid neither in money nor in assistance via chores of any kind.

For my quote, I took artistic license in devising a " material" secondhander" as one who achieves values by benefitting from the labours of others. My usage in the in the quote in question is accurate.

If you like, think of it like this, a moocher is after your physical goods , a secondhander is after unearned self-esteem/ spiritual goods, they are both refusing to interface with reality directly for some value they seek.

referring to a spiritual moocher and a material secondhander Is not inaccurate on these terms.

    *side note
whether a person deceives others into thinking he/ she is great/deserving so he/she can fake self esteem in the light of admiration shinning out the eyes of their victims or whether the person simply is great or otherwise deserving of esteem but hasn't the courage to claim it and so depends on others to remind him/ her of his greatness ,personally I don't make a distinction. Both to me are of one kind "spiritual Secondhanders"
I am saying this because above, for some, may seem unclear.

I thought that as well. I also don 't get the Xenocide one. Over population is an absurd concept.

"I respect myself too much to fake reality for your benefit". I like that one!

I'm sorry, shouldn't that say moochers believe what's yours and mine are his?. I thought a second hander was a person who gets their self worth from the reflection, attention and accolades they gather from others.
