this just goes to cement the view that this admin is totally ignorant about the threat faced. It will be to the detriment of us all.

    wow..that was a long winded reply that said nothing, really. You replied then deleted it and then told me you deleted it and alluded to it being a very good reply, but you were scared someone might take it the wrong way (again with the fear of offending..gah)... so..thanks for the reply that I'll never see... and can't properly reply to... but if I could have replied, it would have been stellar!.

    If the rumors about the Sony situation are true, then the North Koreans haven't been totally isolated.

    Ah, but in the meantime they've been garnering the ability to launch a nuclear missile. At least as far as Japan, and they hope, to the US mainland.

    True. And I certainly will not challenge your assertion. But does that mean that you should nonetheless poke them in the eye? For what purpose? To make yourself feel superior?

    On a numbers basis, we're in more danger from our own police and our government than we are from fundamentalists of any stripe.

    We are really facing a fight against savages that we've helped create. We financed and put into place the oil based tyrannies of the MidEast that have generated much of the savagery.

    Everything we do and everything we are is anathema to them, because we have not submitted to Allah. That is just what is required, and all that is required. We haven't done it, so we have committed a capital offense; I use "capital" intentionally, because it's Latin root is "caput, capitis -head".

    We can isolate them, blockade the entire area and let them handle their own problems. How many real problems have we had from the N Koreans since they've been essentially isolated. They stay out of our way.

    No group on earth has ever been able to defeat an ideology or a religion. The only thing that works is to isolate them and let them handle their own problems.

    I replied to you with a comment that was meant to counter your comment, but it could be taken the wrong way by those who did not understand the full context - similar to what happened to Hiraghm. Since I don't want to suffer the same fate, I deleted that comment. However, you are mightily wrong here, and if I could, I'd demonstrate to you how wrong you truly are.

    I have been right in the path of the existence of Muslims for 17 years and have successfully converted many to the benefits of free enterprise. If one of them decides that my existence is in their way, then I am prepared to die, rather than convert. If that is the way it is, then so be it.

    No, I don't think that we can. Their philosophy is one that says you either convert or die. That is contrary to nearly all other religions. Unless they have some sort of reformation, it is either they die, or the rest of us do. I choose not to die.

    How do we win? By not hurting their feelings? I don't thing that's going to work. They don't HAVE feelings and they aren't offended by anything anyway...they want you to COMPLY...or die.
