When playing word games, avoiding certain phrases like this WH administration does, it bothers me how often they easily refer to and interchange ISIS with ISIL. We should never recognize ISIL in word or deed. The ‘L’ stands for the 'The Levant’--the land that is currently occupied by Israel.
It is deeply troubling to me how often the WH spokesperson refers to the extremist as ISIL. It’s a damn dog-whistle.
