As Medicaid enrollment grows, participating doctors decreases

Note the last sentence. "HealthPocket noted that Medicaid will need "a broader set of interventions" to ensure enough PCPs accept the insurance program" I believe that is doublespeak for "Now we need to figure out more creative ways to force doctors and other medical professionals to submit to slavery." This process has been going on for decades.. Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements are crap compared to private insurers and patient self-pay. The more patients using Medicare and Medicaid causes providers to increase rates to private insurers and squeeze in 20 patients in an hour to make up for the loss. This was no accident, this was the plan.

"a gulch will require at least a few dentists"
And the US will continue to have objectivists who want good service without regard to what the gov't decleares.

I feel your despair, however, on the bright side, a gulch will require at least a few dentists :)

Oh, Snoogoo, if it was just me I probably would. I'm 62 and looking at a limited time anyway. But my daughter is graduating from dental school in May and coming to join me in practice. She has her whole life ahead of her and has to make a living. Medicaid payments won't even pay the overhead. I worry way more about what life will be for my children. They worked very hard to get their degrees and now the insurance companies and government declare they have no right to make a profit?
Sorry to go on and on. You opened a can of worms

It's very simple. All that has to a happen is for the state medical and dental boards promulgate a rule that acceptance of Medicaid is a requirement for licensure. And they will
