WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report) — In what could be a prelude to a Presidential run in 2016, on Friday Joe Biden released to the public both e-mails that he has written while serving as Vice-President for the past six years.

Biden took pride in announcing that he had sent both messages from his official government e-mail address, adding, “I have nothing to hide.”

Minutes after the e-mails were released, the media pored over the treasure trove of materials, which offer a fascinating behind-the-scenes glimpse into Biden’s tenure as Vice-President.

The first e-mail, written to President Obama in December of 2009, asks about the time and place of the White House holiday party.

The second and last e-mail, written in May of last year, asks the President, “Is our Internet slow today? I’m trying to watch something,” followed by a frowny-face emoticon.

According to Biden’s records, the President did not respond to either e-mail.

You people do realize that Biden is only in there as a warning against Impeachment and Conviction, right? Rand Paul even admitted as much...

A buffoon might be better than the !@#$%$#@!!! we currently have as president. It would be refreshing, however, to have a rational and competent person in the White House.

Elizabeth Warren came out and said today: "Vice President Biden's emails weren't actually written by him alone. It was a collective effort from all of the democrats on the Hill to make those happen."

    Re: straightlinelogic,

A truly brilliant satire worthy of a Will Rogers commentary on our political class.

Of course Joe biden is in a class all by himself and my vote must be reconsidered.

Would we be better of with an obvious idiot in the White House or should we elect another president who has absolutely no understanding of his or her responsibilities to the citizens of this nation?

There was a fire at Bidens Vice Presidential Library that destroyed all 5 books including two that he hadn't colored yet.

I didn't know Joe Biden was smart enough to send an email. I guess I learn something every day. If Joe learned to keep his mouth shut, he'd really be dangerous instead of just embarrassing. Hillary just said, what does it matter?

The WH responds: "We just were made aware of these." The President responds, " i am reading these along with the rest of you all. "

White House spokesman, Earnest Harf, said that the President takes all communication with the Vice President seriously and that both emails are presently under review by the White House Management Team.
