And the latest news according to Obama is he (Bush) is responsible for the increased tensions in the Middle East. I guess as long as the "D's" are in power (1-1/2 more years) they'll blame Bush.

Did he say the color of the guy who was trying to rob him? No doubt some white guy.... maybe it was George Bush.

That guy gets into more trouble since he lost his job.

are the Israelis subject to anything like our 4th
amendment, I wonder. . . they have no problem
with profiling, it appears, by their El Al airline
    safety record -- no terrorists. -- j

p.s. if the vast majority of the perps wear red
bandanas, would it be appropriate to consider
a red bandana "probable cause" or not?

His bishop is black, and only functionally literate, to listen to him. I'm sorry. I'm a snob when it comes to basic grammar.

Perfect. I noticed the same on all cable news. Are they afraid of getting sued or of Obama jumping on them with the justice department?

The true wonder would have been if no murders occurred. Up until the very moment of the shooting, everything coming from Washington were excuses downplaying the violence. In this young man's screwed-up brain he probably thought he was performing a heroic deed.

On another note: Brain-eating zombies attacked Washington DC. Most of them died of starvation.

Nowhere did I read in the news reports the shooter is black - unless it was hiddne on page 87. Once the picture of the shooter was published it then became obvious. BUT, as others have said, if the shooter was white and the victim black, then it would have been headlines on MSNBC etc from the start.

And he was shooting at someone trying to rob him? From inside his car? Maybe it was Michael reaching in. At least the shooting got a tweet from the president.

Now if the shooter was white would it change the commentary? Certainly it would.

If the victim was black would it have started another series of riots? Certainly it would.

Now you want us to believe that from about 50 yards. You randomly get a head shot on a fully unifrmed cop missing an entire crown of people in between?

You also want us to believe that the shot in the upper shoulder of the second police officer victim was also random having missed the entire crowd and the unknown boogeyman you claim you really wanted to shoot? As if you didn't realize that you missed a guy literally an alledged few yards away?

Even the most basic forensic modeling will drop a BS flag on this.

So simple first shot aimed and hit.

Simple second shot because of panic commotion he slapped the strigger and pulled the shot and we still have a hit.

And no one saw him aiming?
The imaginary guy he had pulled the gun never screamed out for help?

So where is the equal coverage of this or do white cops lives matter?

Interesting commentary. I agree with some of it and disagree with other parts of it. It is well-known that many of the Ferguson protests are actually formed by "professional" protesters who are funded to agitate. Most are not from St. Louis even, let alone Ferguson. He brings up an interesting point regarding the situation of over-policing and backlash seen as a partisan issue where it should be and then promptly denounces the left for causing it. While I did not read anything I would have labeled over-policing by the officer in the Michael Brown case, I do think there is over-policing going on everywhere and I point to the trial of the young male rapper, who is accused of inciting and profiting off gang violence. From the time he was a young teen, he felt hunted by police-so much so that he eventually moved out of the city. Or programs such as stop and frisk in NYC, which on a percentage basis targeted minority males significantly higher than whites. Just the fact that such a program could even be seen as constitutional, blows my mind. Yet the program exists today! and we hear little outcry from the right on it but we do hear we support our police!

Eric Holder has publicly stated that this crime was committed by some "punk". Funny he was able to come to that conclusion so quickly.
