Absolutely agreed. An effective coder needs to know operating systems, networking, server administration, sql, gui, lifecycle processes, beta testing, production rollout, and most of all REVISION CONTROL.
lol I was joking... I meant, they probably used existing open source programs to build it, like mySQL, Apache, etc. They'd never admit it, of course...
