I have always found the story of the WWI Christmas truce to be fascinating. There is more information out there but this is a brief description.

    I never noticed... He's English... I hear their universal healthcare is so slow some pull their own teeth with pliers while waiting for an appointment.... :)

    No, and you probably won’t see it unless you go looking for it. A&E(I think?) had a tradition of showing “Patton” with George C Scott on Memorial weekend for years, then one year they promoted their movie, a new Eisenhower movie. They played it over and over all weekend. I haven’t seen it listed since. Lol. I think I wasn’t the only one upset.

    Still adore Alan Rickman. He’s my fav.
