    I was informed by a Gunny that a Corpsman in a Marine uniform was a Marine when the stuff hit the fan. Once a Marine always a Marine.

    I can think of Medics and others in the Army who directly supported the Infantry.

    In many ways deserving of more recognition than they perhaps received.

    So a tentative deal has been struck. Why, I cannot fathom in 20 lifetimes! It shouldn't have been a negotiation at any point. Concrete terms. Don't like them. Too bad. And then we should have walked away.

    I am amused (for lack of a strong enough expletive) by the bigwigs at Apple who condemn the Indiana Pizza shop. This is a company that does business in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Syria, etc. Countries who kill and torture and stone Gays. But heaven forbid that they won't cater their wedding with pizza. Who serves pizza at a wedding anyhow?

    Unfortunately true...
    Congress should well fear other, like the anger of their constituents or facing the annihilation of Israel on their watch or an Iranian dirty bomb detonating on U.S. soil due to either their actions (rare) or their inaction (common).
    Anyway, how can we expect a modicum of sanity and reason from a Congress of Twinkies and Ding Dongs aggravated by a Senate of Stooges!?
