I have been doing a lot of trading lately, mainly stocks and options. Reading through one of the news articles I came across this. Perhaps there could be some merit to their claim though I really dislike any form of government control on business but I digress. Anti-competitive Behavior? wow, this is in Canada but seriously? this sounds like something straight out of a book we all know

Competition Bureau of Canada? Sounds like the U.S. Bureau of Transparency. And we thought Rand made this stuff up.

khalling gives the correct response to hiraghm's self-imposed dilemma.
There is a proverb in Arabic that says-
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend".
A little thought shows this to be dead wrong,
you can be against both of them. Alliances based on mutual enmity rather than positive aims tend to be fragile.

I'm listening to the Audible version of Atlas Shrugged right now and was just getting to the Reardon trial.

    Yeah, it sounds familiar.

    Hmm... I have mixed feelings...

    I hate Google....

But I hate Canada... well, the Canadian government.

    But I hate Google.

But I don't think they should have to turn over proprietary info.

    But I hate Google.

But, if the Canadian gov't can't make a case for anti-competitive practices *without* the proprietary info, then they don't have a case, anyway.
