    And every con-gress person who voted for it knew it would be abused.
    They KNEW, and they ignored their oath to the constitution, and they became traitors in that moment.

    that's why they're building that monstrous complex
    out west, to store and process the septabytes of data
    retrieved daily from social media, cable tv, cellphone

    I knew this would happen when the Patriot Act was first proposed. I remember arguing with my mother, who insisted it would never be abused.

    What I find to be almost beyond belief is the volume of information they are storing and reviewing. Every communication we make? It seems impossible.
    It's a terrible feeling to know that everything I communicate is subject to scrutiny by a hostile power.
