    As demonstrated in books, plays and movies, such as To Kill a Mockingbird, everyone is well aware that the mob can become stirred up to do horrific things that none of the individuals can face.

    Such mobs are broken up, at least in fiction, by forcing members of the mob to think as individuals once more.

    So why don't more people realize the government is a slow mob.
