Help, please, to name my store

I have a "stall" in the Gulch Marketplace, which I am moving to ETSY [partly for ease of use to customers, and partly for increased traffic]. In the process, I'm looking for a new name for it. I'm turning to an group that I hope will patronize this store, for some ideas to help name it.

About 3/4 of what I sell is jewelry: chain maille, beads, semi-precious gems, silver, crystal and some interesting metals. The rest is crystal sun-catchers; wirework, like Christmas ornaments and jewelry - and maybe some calligraphy. Almost everyone has a favorite Rand quote which it might be nice to hang on the wall and consider every day.

I'm looking for a new name [right now it's Queen Buttercup's Jewel Box] that more clearly gives information about what I sell but also will appeal to the different audiences I hope to attract.
Since there are so many different things and beautiful things, I've been struck by the dichotomy of "Leather and Lace". It's taken and very overused, but I want 2 or three words that have that same sense.
So,
I think I'm looking for a intensely sturdy, masculine word like leather or steel - these don't necessarily have to be nouns - and a softer, more ornate, maybe more delicate word like lace, or satin or maybe tracery.

I'm all for lots of alliteration myself. The biggest problem is that ETSY only allows 20 characters for a shopname.
    How about "ShinyStuff"? "SeriouslyShinyStuff"?
    "Crystals and more crystals"?
you can tell I'm named out.
    thanks!

I'm thinking about that - ETSY allows 20 characters for a shopname soif I continue to use it I'll have to abbreviate. I'm thinking ButtercupsJewelBox also.
    Thanks for your good wishes.

Hi Winter. What if you just shorten the original name to "QB's Jewlery Box". When people come to the site you can have an explanation of the full name and what the initials stand for. Good luck my friend.

Oh my, Winterwind, you have set us a challenge. I frequently have to find unique names for products or activities, and Google tells me almost everything is already taken. I also do Renaissance Faires and have milked the Shakespearean lingo. With billions of things that have names, our language is just not extensive enough. Even combining two or more separate elements is not enough to wrest a distinctive label. For example, I thought "Armour and Amour" would be great for you, but they are all over the place already, used by others. Ditto "Treasures and Trinkets" and "Glimmer and Glamour". Sheesh.

OK, "Soft and Steely" does not appear to be anyone's trademark or moniker.. yet. It just isn't groovy enough. "Queen Buttercup's Treasure House", I think, is groovy and totally available. Like it? Other available couples are "Glimmer and Garb", "Garb and Glimmer", "Lordly Loot". (I have this thing for alliteration.) I hope some of this helps.

Hmm. I have a "stall" in the Marketplace, but a "store" on ETSY.
I'm partial to velvet. I'm the only person I know who has opera-length green velvet gloves - and wears them. no, no, don't go there, this is a family show. I wear them to the ballet, because I don't really like opera [unless there's no sopranos in it].

taken. also, I think, every other clever use of maille. and I'd rather leave that for the armor guys, anyway. and I sell a reasonable amount of crystal, too.

bajajaj (cripes I'm trying to edit and it keeps erasing what I just wrote...which looks like a place in Mexico when I meant 'bahahhaa'.) (editing reason is now obvious. Second edit, cuz I can't spell.)

Hmm. I can see how a store called "opening metal rings, linking them, and closing them" would tell people what I do, but I'm thinking more about a name that describes better what I SELL than what I do.
    thanks, db.

Db says the name of your store should NOT tell people what you actually do for trademark purposes

I really do love my current name, but it doesn't tell a reader who is looking at the name what I sell. We've floated names like
Iron Velvet and Steel Lace, but nothing has hit me with that aha! moment yet.

I love my current name. Unfortunately, since I sell almost exclusively online, I think I need a name that is more specific about what I sell.
