So much for innocent until proven guilty... dogs are a great aid, but they make lousy witness's. Aren't you supposed to have the right to question your accuser? I don't like this one bit. What kind of American violates another with such disrespect and lack of evidence. No matter how well a dog is trained it is not infallible. If a dog signals something and a simple pat down doesn't provide any supporting evidence, that should end it. For crying out loud, our currency is bathed in drug residue which dogs can no doubt detect... I have always believed that being forced to provide evidence in the form of bodily fluids or excretions violates the spirit if not the letter of the Fifth amendment. "No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation." If you are forced to provide body substances from your own body, you being compelled to be a witness against yourself...
this is all about the law and order acceptance of our society. once we declare "war" on things or tactics- real live individuals are hurt. I do not care how many guilty go free-law enforcement should never be allowed to cast a wide net and capture innocents as well. Whoever is doing the dog training for the new mexican border patrol and police need to be fired.
Repulsive behavior. We are truly living in a police state. Those that are purportedly here to protect us are now the perpetrators of some of the most vile injustices.

Meanwhile, while they search a woman's bowel, they won't seal the southern border.
