- 4Posted by freedomforall 9 years, 11 months agoYes, there were politicians among the founders who were for strong central government. They were led by banksters and Alexander Hamilton. They created the crisis that brought about the Constitutional Convention to replace the perfectly acceptable Articles of Confederation which had much less central power, ergo, it was unacceptable to the statist Hamiltonians and banksters. They wanted the Constitution to have NO Bill of Rights AT ALL. They did not support the second amendment. It was the Anti-federalists, NOT the federalist (anti-hero statists) that forced those enemies of individual liberty to include the Bill of Rights to protect individuals, NOT to establish a national militia to put down insurrections. Parry is a moronic propagandist for the state.| Permalink
