    [Sarcasm] If the expensive hotel prices affect tourism, maybe they can do some kind off subsidy program to offset the higher prices.

    I have spent my entire life on the west coast and one thing is clear to me. During my lifetime the coastal region and communities have really transitioned toward ownership by the wealthy. The working class and even middle class need not apply. There are very few exceptions, and those will transition.

    my question is for the individuals interviewed who rent out their homes, how many other regulations have they supported in their town that didn't affect them but someone else? It IS California after all

    Regulation cuz the city wants its money-enough to spend $410K in the first year to enforce it. sleezebags
