Dang, sorry for being late on this, but I wonder if the media was buzzing over this story?

doesn't this practice almost beg for a Ragnar reply?
Ragnar might even use this logic::: if She can't
have it, You can't have it. . burn down the looters'
storage building and do a crowd-fund to help her. -- j

Thank You, Kaila! . this is a perfect example of the
insane practice of looting people for sport which our
"law enforcement" agencies perform. . immoral. -- j

I recommend we take up a collection, buy her all her stuff back in spades, lease it to her for free, advertise nationally (NPR ought to do a story for nothing), and dare the arrogant prosecutor to come take OUR stuff.

    Time for a movie!

Tar and feathers... unfortunately for objectivists this would require some sort of "collective" action. I wouldn't mind if we brought back the stocks. I can throw a pretty fair tomato. :)

I didn't see a time, but the police were wearing masks and came in with guns pointed at them. seems over the top and SWAT-y to me. “After they breached the door at gunpoint with masks, they proceeded to take every belonging in my house,” Shattuck said. from this Forbes article: http://www.forbes.com/sites/jacobsullum/...

No I didn't. I only saw her video statement, didn't see anything about swat or a night time raid. They very likely did just show up in the morning or something. The 3 am stuff is reserved for known fugitives (at least here it is).

What impresses me is that this kind of attitude should have been erradicated by the people around and near that procecutor. The fact that it hasn't been is a clear indication of the depth of corruption and malignancy in this country.

All media stories have something missing... What is enough in the story is that I don't see any evidence for a SWAT team here, I don't see any evidence for stealing (call it what it is) her private possessions and I don't see any reason why the police force needs to be the super-judge after the courts found her not guilty of any crimes (no matter what the cops feel...). However, once we accept the fact that the US is now a Third World nation run by thugs in suits (just like the cannibals/presidents-for-life in 3-piece suits in Africa) with private SWAT teams, then everything comes logically together. Nothing new here, move along...
