I think this situation shows how religion can be manipulated and used to do harm on others. It seems that with their beliefs, there is no good solution to this issue, which seems to illustrate how just blindly following a religious tenant can be destructive to both believers and non believers.

If it had not been the NYTimes, I might have hoped it was an expose on the excesses of the EPA.

  I know.. but i thought the question of religion driving bad decisions was interesting, seems to have become a standard today. EPA is a religion to some today..but not me.
