Clinton to make boosting wages central to her economic plan

Here is where it all falls apart. This creature will get the faceless masses to supposedly elect her, and then continue the democrap method of crushing any possibility of improvements by imposing more and more looting/mooching programs (such as our wonderful Obamacare), which, as they destroy the economy (whats left of it) they then blame on the republocraps. Is there a benign dictator we can hire, and dispose with all of them?

Boosting wages without increasing the intrinsic value of work means that she is intending to dilute the value of currency even more. In short, this is a promise for more inflation.
Since most of her potential electorate is made up of people who either don't work for a living or do "make work" jobs which do not really create wealth, this is a cynical promise to loot producers even more. Typical socialist frame of mind.

I've long been given to wondering if the worst extremes of income inequality reflect market inefficiency much more than actual greed. In other words, a perfectly efficient market would see income inequality still exist, but converge to a much less severe level.

Hmmm, Hilary finding a way for government to boost wages in the private sector? This could only mean she's advocating lowering taxes on businesses and individuals! Uhh, nahhh, I must have been dreaming. I can't believe y'all woke me up for this BS.

Firstly, Obama considers himself to be a benign dictator, as will Clinton. Since the low information voters are going to respond to Clinton's something-for-nothing ploy, perhaps a cartoonish campaign might capture their votes. Sorta like -- TaxBusters! Who ya gonna call? A new product: "Moneylox. A device that locks your wallet electronically from your smartphone. (Not to be confused with smoked salmon.) Or just use Donald Trump, playing himself.

I admit....Lately I find myself evaluating what I'm doing. With each leftist proposal and totalitarian law I evaluate myself. Do I want to keep working 65+ hours per week running two businesses? Do I stay in California? Do I stay in America? More and more I find that I stop, evaluate, and really think about this. Maybe I should cash out, donate my suits and ties, slip on my shorts and sandles and waddle down to the bodega for a six pack, to be consumed next to my swimming pool each glorious day. Sleep in. Relax. Fuck it...

Bloomberg would love to step in and fill that role! If he were a Democrat president (now why isn't he running?) he would have total control and would then be the dictator that Orwell was talking about in his "1984".

The Democrats (and a good many Republicans) are little more than Orwellian Fabians and 1984 is just around the corner.......Thanks to their fecklessness!.

In a true free market economy, that can't happen! It only happens when government steps in to "regulate" wages and prices. It also is an indication that government is in fact aiding a controlled market place and is dividing up the spoils with the crony-capitalists. Ayn Rand can explain it can't she?

This is long after her competition (Colonel, er, Bernie) said he would push the MinEntitlement to $15. She's playing Catchup-n-Loot, falling behind in the game, and it shows.

I don't know whether to be ecstatic to see her trying to chase the airplane that's leaving her behind, or concerned that Sanders may just steal this one from Rand.

What is a shame is that Bernie Sanders can point to no Socialist programs that have ever truly worked. As soon as someone else' money is used up, the country crashes and burns.......Bernie, wake up and smell the coffee....

The entire illegal tax code is nothing more than a shell game with goodies for everyone that can hire someone to take advantage of them. Why do you think that even the Republicans aren't pushing for any "REAL" tax reform. Rand Paul and the "REAL" Conservatives will give the country what it truly needs! A Tax Reform Colonic.......

William, you need to become the economic mojo head guy, you obviously have a better grasp of reality than any of these goobers running. Look at Chipotels prices in the SF area and what they did with them for proof of their insane policies.

TANSTAAFL indeed, there is a reason that was the Lunar Colony flag in TMIAHM. I wish they would make it a good movie, it would be as instructive as AS to some.

Although I believe that was in regard to a National Bank, he is indeed correct and this just shows how they love to say they are following the Founding Fathers, yet they are about 180 degrees off.

They are counting on business to somehow reduce other costs and keep the workers but pay them more. That's not will happen unless they do a directive 10-289 and tax robots at $15/hr too, or forbid reducing staff

Automation here we come. Good business ahead for robots. All jobs not worth $15/hr will be GONE or given to irobot if costs of automation is less than $15

If you've noticed how Obama sells his programs, he typically lists two absurd and extreme options before presenting his far left "moderate" option. I can't help but wonder if Bernie Sanders is being presented In the same manner as one extreme (Ted Cruz, for example, being the other), so as to eventually get us to settle for a "moderate", such as "Fauxcahontas" Elizabeth Warren.

I love it when politicians promise things they don't have to pay for! Underlining their status as looters! I particularly liked her assertion....."Clinton will assert that the nation's economy should not be judged by a specific growth figure but rather by how much income increases for middle-class households." This underlines the re-distributionost part of the plan. She obviously intends to take from the "Rich" and give to the "Middle class" We all know what the final result will be....fudged data and a declining net growth figure...but as long as the rich are screwed, they can say they are successful. What this commie nitwit doesn't understand...or maybe she does...is that government action like this will actually increase "income inequality" as the "Rich" aren't stupid and have the wherewithal to get around whatever she does. We will find that the definition of "Middle class" will be changed...lowered....to make the numbers better.

Ask any of these leftist idiots where wealth comes from and they'll probably answer, workers. Not understanding even basic economics, they don't have economic plans any more than a 5 year old has a plan for getting an astronaut safely to Mars and back.

To put it another way when you are voting Democrat and sadly nowadays republican you are voting secular progressive...I hope to incite some movement to some republicans showing some balls and forming a new part of those already elected. But so far I see no balls and only the court of Yoda and and Soros
