Iran is far too dangerous, and have proven themselves so countless times, to be given a place at teh big-boy's table. Its one thing to be consistent with your ideology and another entirely to be consistent to the point of being seriously deadly foolhardy. Paul is wrong.

The average person learns from experience.
The wise can learn from the experience of others.
    The fool - never learns.

Oct 21, 1994, President Bill Clinton announced a deal with North Korea to end their nuclear weapon
“North Korea will freeze and then dismantle its nuclear program.
South Korea and our other allies will be better protected.
The entire world will be safer as we slow the spread of nuclear weapons.”
The United States and international inspectors will carefully monitor North Korea to make sure it keeps its commitments.

98% sound, 2% tin-foil hat...that's why I can't vote for him. I wonder how far the apple has rolled from the tree. I need to know this before Rand gets my full support.

Over the years I have been amused by, and applauded Dr. Paul. But at times he's been known to 'wander off the reservation' as it were, and I think that this is one of those times. I doubt that Dr. Paul has even seen a copy of the treaty yet, and even if he has, there hasn't been enough time to digest and consider what it says. Therefor, I suspect that he's simply commenting for the shock value.
