Uh, morality is nothing more than determining which social practices are best for society and which ones work against society. ALL laws legislate morality of one kind or another, the question is which morals one is going to choose as those to underpin society. So really what you are saying is that you disagree with the morals that Allen West agrees with. Nothing wrong with that, but to argue that one can not legislate morality is nonsense - politicians are doing it every day.

I will note, that as far as the borders go, West is against the open-borders that the Obama Administration has pushed.

If we could have more individuals like Allen West stand up across America and shred BHO like he did. Maybe members of Congress would get a backbone and stand with other Americans to oust BHO from office before he completely ruins country.

Thanks for turning us on to Allen West's speech. This was no politician rallying his followers. This was an intelligent man speaking from his heart and brain. What I heard were the exact words and thoughts that seemed to be coming right out of my mouth. I would hope it made Obama feel ashamed of his Iranian venture -- but it won't. He is a sheep alright, and he got sheared in Iran.

well, you want some morality legislated and so does West. I think he is a great guy, but he can't tell me I can't gamble, take drugs or submit to a National ID (which thanks to law and orderers) we have coming to you 2016. You have to have a gold star on your license to travel by plane between states. While thousands of illegals pour over the border every year-YOU will have to get in line son to have your license affirmed. Why? the war on terror. what they should have always said was the war on terror toward the US citizen

I like anyone who can annoy Obummer! Alan West is one man who doesn't hold back. I admire him. West is especially angry in this speech...but who isn't? Obama just made a nuke deal with Iran via the UN. You might be getting more comments on that issue if you included it in your heading. IMO, it was a great speech! Thanks for the post.
