Sigh. Look, if you believe in anything at all, especially something important, without sufficient evidence that is by definition not consistent with rationality. It is a large danger sign to your own life and well-being.

This was a lightweight chit-chat, hardly a discussion and certainly not a debate. I did enjoy Jamie Kilstein's story about Niagara Falls. It was right up there with Neil Degrasse Tyson on Stephen Colbert educating Bill O'Reilly on the tides.

I loved it! It's funny how the Duck guy accidentally makes the opposite argument. I also like the end about wanting everlasting life being the ultimate selfishness. Count me as extremely selfish in wishing technology could cure aging and disease.

Pick one. As Bokonon invites us to sing along with him:

    "Tiger got to hunt,
    Bird got to fly,
Man got to sit and wonder why, why, why?

    Tiger got to sleep.
    Bird got to land.
Man got to tell himself, he understand."

    Free Will.

A gift or simple reality, it negates the VS.

We in the US, for now anyway, are free to believe what we wish in a relatively peaceful environment of co-existence.

Credit the Founders, Jefferson in particular, and their foresight in crafting the Bill of Rights.

Anything vs. Anything to me implies one against the other of whatever...

    I found the debate humerous

I never understand the vs. Part. It 's like saying atheism is some alternative to God.
