...but I'm sorry, it's time they put these Clinton creatures in prison. They've been walking between the raindrops for far too long now.

The fact that he is a lawyer gives them the heebie jeebies because he might point out incorrect points of law to you in the case. The last thing either side wants is legal knowledge in the jury pool.

How unspeakably sexist! They're defining you in terms of your husband and not yourself! How Politically Incorrect!!! They should be reported to the National Organization of Women!!!

Oh, wait...there's money on the table, so political correctness be damned.

    Never mind.

I always get sent home when they ask me what my husband does for a living and I reply "attorney" :)

One thing that's always scared me is the certainty that if I ever end up in court, I will most certainly not be tried by a jury of my peers.

I too, am an automatic challenge.

A few questions and they realize I will look at the evidence, not the theater....so they send me bye bye.

I learned years ago that if you show up for jury selection in an expensive suit with shined shoes, you'll be the first one sent home.

After sitting through two jury pool decisions with the same six other engineers and a nurse, I watched two groups of non-degreed people get selected for jury duty, and the seven engineers (including myself) and nurse all get excluded from two cases. Knowing that the cases were medical malpractice cases, I could not help but think that the two doctors were not going to get a jury of their peers.
