No surprises for us paranoid types.

Remember: Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they are not out to get you.

There have been somewhere between 0 and 999 times that I thought the government has only released as little info on its spying on Americans and others as it thought it could get away with and what actions they seem to be taking due to public embarrassment are token, done to delay downgrading any data acquisition endeavor only when a replacement for it is working, or both.

My thanks again go out to Mr. Snowden for what he has begun.

I don't really have a lot of anger on this issue, as I firmly believe that all this is not really a drive to dominate people, but an improper reaction to 9/11. All conspiracy theory mumbo jumbo aside I think the government was caught totally off guard by 9/11 and freaked out when they found such a thing can happen. IMO it's an improper reaction and it is time to bring it back in line.
