I agree. And it did not even make it into the list of 10 best TV SF shows! It should have been #1 (and TNG #2). Time to re-watch.

Best damn Scifi series on television!

Babylon 5, Voice of the Resistance in Rumors, Bargains and Lies (Susan Ivanova):

    "First, one brief announcement.
I just wanted to mention, for those who have asked that absolutely nothing whatsoever happened today in Sector 83 by 9 by 12.
    I repeat, nothing happened.
    Please remain calm."

Now I understand why it is written in the OT: "Damascus is laid waste..."

In the Middle East who or what can tell where anything is??? (especially these days?)

Sounds like the way the House tries to explain a new law to the Senate. Maybe that script was written by the same guy who wrote Obamacare.

I remember it at the time. I think he was trying to say you cannot prove a negative.

In general, I strongly agree what he's saying. It's good to know stuff. It's okay not to know stuff. It's really dangerous when you think you know something and are wrong or there's something out there you don't even know you should be asking about.

I disagreed with the invasion and occupation and Iraq, but I always felt like Rumsfeld and I had similar thought processes.

He's standing in front of a panel with two wheels and some gauges, and if I remember correctly, he describes it as an "atomic control panel" or some such. In reality, that's a dive control station simulator for 1950s era submarines.

I think I know the video. Guy in a lab coat talking total nonsense, just linking a bunch of unrelated buzzwords. I looked and can't find it either ...

LOL. This has to be a parody or it's B.S. I spent 15 minutes on YouTube trying to find another video from the 1960s of a scientist speaking gibberish about a weapon system. That's what it reminds me of. Anyone know the video I'm thinking of?

"Reports that say that something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns – the ones we don't know we don't know. And if one looks throughout the history of our country and other free countries, it is the latter category that tend to be the difficult ones." -- Donald Rumsfeld.

This would be a good video to show when someone who says keep your presentation simple and easy-to-understand by explaining it without using equations.
