Yup, happened to me last week. Got it straight-ish. Probably someone who lives in mommy's basement and is incapable of creative, productive thought; and therefore, must resort to mindless destruction of those that are, in whatever menial way they can come up with. As far as I'm concerned, it adds validity to the things that we are doing here, if we are getting under somebodies skin and making them uncomfortable. As far as the points, no skin off my back.

Have a crush on Captain Picard? I did when Patrick Steward was younger. Great voice.

That happened to me the other night. Someone went through and downed most of my posts to 0 or -1. It was later corrected, but there does seem to be someone in the Gulch that likes to ding people.

that's closer to Hiraghm's neck of the woods. Iowa City is dead center of the state. I grew up in Mt. Pleasant which is near the MIssissippi and about 3 hours from St. Louis on hwy 61 which turns into 218 in Iowa. I think I could still drive that route in my sleep.

Someone is down-voting each of your posts in this conversation; it's not me. I'm trying to vote them back up.

JUST because you're from the state of Iowa doesn't make you a "Hawkeye". I grew up in Cyclone Country, tyvm.

Had fun trying to explain my T-shirt with that written on it to my elderly (and prudish) aunt. :)

No. But I use to think that maybe you were British, or that you might have a crush on Captain Picard because you always write, “just so”. :)
