Secondly, I haven't had the chance to review the book itself, but I did find on the Amazon page above that the author of the book, Steven M. Druker, is a public interest attorney, not a scientist. I have serious doubts about the validity of a book about science written by a lawyer.
And, after reading the reviews of the book, I didn't find any that were written by an objective scientist. In short, this reminds me of the "global warming" scam - wherein only scientists who have something to lose support it.

I do not trust Monsanto, or the like, to modify a seed for health and nutrition over economics of growing a crop. I do not trust the FDA to ensure it's safe to eat.
GMO has NEVER been put through long term trials. WE are the trial. I choose not to be a lab rat. I want to know what I'm eating. That label doesn't cost a dime to print.
Personally, I don't buy "organic" because they cost about twice as much as the other stuff. But the best stuff comes from my backyard garden!
Just label it, that isn't asking a lot. Having a choice is never a bad thing.
