The religion for the PC crowd explained. It's a long article but well written. Eye opening.

Sorry, but this guy is an idiot. Children develop an internal gender identity by the age of four. His claim that a 10 year old has no concept or understanding of gender is utter nonsense. If that were the case, girls would not show preference for girls toys and girl's clothing, nor would boys show a preference for boy's toys and boy's clothing. The mere fact that children do exhibit such gendered behavior, even when they're young toddlers, totally undermines his claim. His blatant ignorance and advocation of violence against trans* people only serves to reinforce the fact that the transgender rights movement is totally and completely legitimate. Does he have any idea how many transgender individuals have been murdered because people actually believe in the exact type of hatred and bile he's spewing? I doubt it.

    And then there's this statement:

    ---------------
"These people were rationally retarded. Every idea they proposed they merely parroted from books and articles they had read. They were like malfunctioning automatons trapped in a cycle of discontented social criticism. Their desperation to invent meaning in the midst of their irrelevant lives made me feel ill. If they could not find a legitimate cause to champion, they would create one out of thin air and defend it relentlessly, regardless of how shallow it truly was."
    ---------------

That exact same thing can be said about every single group on the face of the earth. Every group of people, no matter what they believe in or what their philosophy is, will always have a common set of beliefs which they all share. That's what makes them a group. If you've ever read any books by Robert Kiyosaki, one of the things he mentions is how every single group has their own brand of "koolaide" to drink. For example, of you join the marines, you'll be expected to accept the marine mentality and the marine way of thinking. If you join a club for real estate investors, you'll be expected to start thinking like a real estate investor. No group is exempt from this, and his attempt to try and paint the phenomenon as being exclusive to liberals exposes his own shortsighted vision, inability for self-analysis, and total lack of understanding about human nature.

In short, the author is just complaining about a particular group he doesn't like, while engaging in the exact same sort of behavior that he himself is complaining about: parroting the standard narrative of a particular group. It just happens to be a different group than the one he used to belong to.
