    Reagan makes some very good points, but I see nothing in his statements that opposes anti-discrimination laws or other reasonable regulation. Religious freedom does not include the freedom to persecute others. One thing that I think a lot of conservatives totally fail to realize is that if we grant unto religious institutions the right persecute others without limitation, or allow them to engage in acts which are generally harmful to other individuals in the name of religious freedom, then we have no guard or protection against the more base and evil aspects of Islamic Sharia Law. Conservatives want to apply government regulation to Muslims to prevent the evil aspects of that religion from corroding society, but they want Christianity to be given a blank check to commit whatever evil it wants. Sorry, but it doesn't work that way. The law must apply equally to everybody. Reagan's statements are beautiful, but the article around them is trash.
