Methinks you complain too much. The site moderators here allow a very wide range of views and opinions, sometimes straying over the line of propriety. They have rarely censured (not censored as some want to claim) posters. As has been mentioned, the comments are still available, just takes a bit more effort to see them. This is a punishment for the individual(s) that exceeded the very loose bounds of propriety.
Stop your bitchin' about how the site is being run. Geez, just because you cough up a couple of bucks you think you have the right to dictate how the OWNER gets to run his property. As I said before, if you don't like it, then leave.

People who become too unpopular receive too many down votes, and will have their posts hidden and be unable to vote on comments until their point total rises. This doesn't happen unless one's vote tally goes sufficiently into negative numbers.
